About the Event
Enjoy a walking tour of a small section of the tributary system to the Stable Swamp Creek along Troughton Road, Robertson. Participants will be taken on a walk along buried waterways and be given a description of what could be done to help reduce the urban heat island effect. Restoring these waterways to the open air would allow moisture capture in the soil and more vegetation. Envisioning a stable or shrinking population, properties could be resumed by the local government to keep house prices from falling while allowing more rewilding and connection of green corridors.
