About the Event
Urban Forest Forum OCCA and Griffith University are hosting a forum focussing on high value forest areas in an urban environment.
Speakers include Brad Lambert on Toohey Forest, Heather Barns talking about Whites Hill Reserve, Paula Ross speaking about Karawatha Forest, Michael Fox on Mount Gravatt Outlook Reserve, and Samantha Capon on the strategic importance of urban forests and their research needs. The speakers will be followed by a discussion on the environmental and community values of these and other urban forests in the Brisbane area. Afternoon tea will be provided.
