About the Event
Tours of the Greenbank Military Area are a rare offering. Here’s your chance to view one of the only five remaining vine forests south of the Brisbane River. Department of Defence staff will accompany the bus as it tours the site stopping to view the flora and fauna, Oxley Creek, the lakes, the practice ranges, and the driver instruction course. They will also discuss the environmental significance of the area and how it is being managed.
BYO water and snacks. Meet at Greenbank Military Training Area, Goodna Road, Greenbank at 10am for a 10:30am departure, returning by 12:30pm.
