Come along to Brisbane City Council’s Rakali Festival and help create a cleaner and greener Brisbane. Join a free tree planting event to create wildlife habitat, as part of Council’s Offset and Restoration Program.

About the Event
Come along to Brisbane City Council’s Rakali Festival and help create a cleaner and greener Brisbane. Join a free tree planting event to create wildlife habitat, as part of Council’s Offset and Restoration Program.
Enjoy sustainability talks and activities, as well as birdwatching, music, crafts and food stalls with your family. Participants will be able to take home a free plant at the end of the planting activity. Help us plant approx. 2,500 native plants and enhance the life of local wildlife population. The Rakali Festival follows on from the very successful Koala, Glider and Grassroots Festivals held annually from 2017-2019.

9.30am – 1pm Sign up for tree planting - Planting groups every half hour from
10.30am Birds Queensland Guided bird walks 10am - 2pm, 2 hours, max 20 people, no dogs
