Nestbox building

Join OCCA for a fun, family-friendly, hands-on nature activity at Spring Mountain Reserve.

Participants can choose to build and/or decorate nest boxes for the many hollow-dependant species such as parrots, gliders, bats and possums which live in the Reserve.   Take home and install in your backyard (or you can donate your box to be installed in a local nature reserve). 

Nest boxes provide valuable habitat for our native fauna within our urban environments.

All ages welcome with parental/carer supervision.
