About the Event
Come visit a dry sclerophyll rainforest, listen to whipbirds and help the local landcare group plant 400 native trees in Opossum Creek, Brookwater. This section of the creek is home to endangered Tusked frogs and a variety of bird species and mammals.
Take the path at end of Lomandra Court, Brookwater. Turn right at the Springfield Central Parkland sign and take the right-hand track heading towards Springfield Lakes. Continue approx 250 metres up-hill heading towards Opossum Creek Parklands. You will see the Springfield Lakes Nature Care Banner and Registration Tent on left hand side of track.
BYO water. Morning tea cake and coffee will be provided
