About the Event
Celebrate Peaks to Point with us! During this field day you will join weed management experts from Oxley Creek Catchment Association and Council to view demonstrations of various weed control techniques for some common weeds found in Logan. You will be shown how to use chemicals safely and effectively and how to determine whether they are necessary. This workshop will provide you with skills that you can take home to your own gardens and properties.
On the day there will be lucky door prizes for attendees to help them start their next weed management project.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU REGISTER:- This event is family friendly.
- Parent/Guardian supervision required for children at all times.

- Outdoor workshop in a bushland environment
- Moderate fitness required
- Long pants, long sleeves and hat
- Walking shoes (thongs and sandals are not suitable!)
- Insect repellent
- Drinking water
- Glasses (if you need them)
- Camera
- Gloves
As this event is catered you must secure a ticket for all participants attending. Spaces are limited. Each session is set to a maximum capacity. This event may be cancelled or postponed if the weather conditions aren't suitable. We will notify you via text and email no later than 1 hour prior to the start of the event.
If you can no longer attend, please cancel your booking via Eventbrite to free up your place to those who are on the waiting list.
