Fancy yourself an amateur scientist? Then join OCCA and the Australian Citizen Science Association to find out about a few of the many Citizen Science projects that you can participate in. Want to find and record echidnas, butterflies, mossies or frogs, or be part of a bioblitz - then come along and find out how. A great range of presenters.

Michelle will also be presenting on Citizen Science, ACSA and The Great Southern Bioblitz.
In 2011 Michelle’s young son presented her with a Redback spider. After convincing him not to pick up spiders but to take photos of them instead Michelle soon found she had over 7000 photos of all sorts of creatures and no idea what any of them were called. Thus is a citizen scientist made.
