About the Event
The Slacks Creek Community Catchment Group is a not-for-profit, community environment group formed in 2018 with the main purpose to maintain existing high value conservation areas and restoration sites within the Slacks Creek Catchment.
They are currrently working on a mangrove restoration project and our working bee will be mulching and weeding an area of creek bank that we revegetated earlier this year as part of the mangrove restoration. Their working bees are a great opportunity to learn about the local environment, participate in environmental restoration, and enjoy meeting like-minded people and have a fun morning outside in a beautiful spot. A morning tea is provided at the end of the working bee.
The event is free to attend, register your interest or attendance via the facebook link.
