Bird watching at Hardings Paddock

Walk the Gamlen Circuit a moderate 3.5km trail. We expect many bush birds including various honeyeaters, lorikeets, robins and Grey-crowned Babblers, and hope to record about 50 bird species.  We finish with morning tea (BYO)  at the picnic ground.

Harding’s Paddock is an Ipswich City Council park, part of the Flinders-Karrawatha corridor. To get there, take the Ipswich-Boonah road south of Yamanto and turn left into Carmichael Road, about 6km south of the Cunningham Highway (and the new Ipswich bypass). Follow Carmichael Road to the end; meet at the first picnic ground at 7.30am.
