About the Event

Learn  about and celebrate Bats with a fascinating talk from Louella Harley of Bat   Conservation and Rescue QLD. An experienced trauma and orphan carer and  educator, Louella will share some little-known bat facts, including the  importance of these animals to the environment, threats to the species and  how you can help!

Learn all about different types of bats, from flying foxes to microbats,  what they eat, where they live, and what to do if you find a bat. Meet a bat   rescue as Louella shares how the organisation and its volunteers save   orphans, raise and release them.
