Experimental Nature based art studio

We acknowledge we are on the unceded lands of the Yuggera and Turrbal people and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We are very excited to be able to share the amazing community garden we care for, with people who also love experimenting with artistic practices in nature. Bring along a full set up, easel, chair, canvas and paints and go traditional studio styles, or bring along some charcoals, paper, or collage and glue and spend two hours just being in various places within the garden. Dr Lenine Bourke focused her PhD on multispecies connections in urban nature. Lenine will provide a brief discussion at the start of the session, then offer a short warm up creative experiment, then leave each person to explore the urban nature in their own artistic ways.
